MPSW is committed to protecting individual privacy and confidentiality. MPSW will comply with our Commonwealth and Victorian legislative, professional and ethical obligations with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of client information. MPSW ensures that only personal information that is needed is collected to deliver MPSW services and it is carefully and safely managed and stored. MPSW also ensures that personal information is collected in a manner that protects the privacy and that individuals are aware of what information is kept about them and the reasons for that. MPSW will ensure personal records are accurate and up to date whenever possible. MPSW provides access for individuals to have their own records amended to correct information. MPSW ensures consent is given to any release of personal information. MPSW staff will only access to MPSW clients' personal information and prevents unauthorised access. MPSW will ensure that any information released for evaluation or research purpose is de-identified, and destruct documents safely when no longer needed.

Support Coordination
